Max always dreamed of surfing. Every day he’d go down to the beach and watch all of the other surfers riding the waves and having tons of fun. The sun was going down and Max realised that he had floated so far out to sea he would never make it back before it was dark. Max started to cry, he was very scared being out there all alone. Max could hear strange noises out there in the ocean and wished so very hard for his mummy. Then all of a sudden Max heard splashes around his board, and he wondered what it was What’s going to happen to me? Then Max heard a strange little voice. “Hey,” the voice said, “how did you get out here?”

About The Author

Michelle Hennessy Author and mother of two, was born in Brisbane Queensland where she lived with her 10 siblings, mother and father. Later on in life Michelle needed a lifestyle change so she moved to Peregian Beach on the Sunshine Coast with her two gorgeous children Jake 17 and Chloe 15. Being one of 11 children Michelle has many nieces and nephews and from that even great nieces and nephews. So surrounded by loads of children and raising Jake and Chloe, Michelle decided to do something that makes children happy and would get them to enjoy reading and love the outdoors. Michelle is now working on her second book in the series. She still works full time and is a full time mother. Writing and publishing Little Dude, her first book of the The Adventures of Max series. This was a goal Michelle set for herself, she can now cross that one off her list.
