About the author
Larry Murnane received a Bachelor of Science degree from Santa Clara University in 1982, where he also played football for two years as a walk-on quarterback, defensive back and special teams player. He graduated cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1985, having won multiple "Best Writer" awards. For approximately 20 years, Larry practiced law as a partner at one of San Diego's oldest and most respected real estate and environmental law firms. He is the principal and founder of Regal Properties, a California real estate services corporation which donates ten percent of its fees and commissions to charities (www.RegalProperties.Net). Larry's other accomplishments include studying at the prestigious London School of Economics, serving on boards for various corporations and public agencies, founding the Angel Mentor Group as a consulting and financial resource for emerging growth companies, teaching as an adjunct professor at the University of San Diego, and receiving the Pro Bono Publico Distinguished Service Award as prevailing counsel in a class action lawsuit on behalf of San Diego's homeless population. Larry has traveled extensively in the United States and abroad, including Europe, Asia, Australia, and South, Central and North America, and he is currently studying to obtain a private pilot's license. He has coached American football in the Italian Football League, in Bologna, Italy and Catania, Sicily, and at several San Diego high schools. He currently resides on Coronado Island, in San Diego County, California, where he enjoys surfing, biking, guitar and beach frisbee with his dog, Piper. He is the father of two beautiful grown children, Shiloh and Conor, with families of their own -- happily pursuing their life passions.
