Overview
This autobiography shares Stephen D. Evans's life experiences, travel adventures, and lessons learned along the way.
Description

Bio tracing the complicated roots of my ancestry history. I came from a split family not realizing that my stepfather wasn't my bio dad until I was around six years old. My siblings consisted of a step-brother and four half-sisters (no full blooded siblings), two half-sisters from my bio dad's side of the family and two half-sisters from my mother's side of the family. My wife Sandie often jokes that for an "only child" I came from a large family :)  Parenting, career planning/execution, travel from hotel management relocation moves during my first career, travel for management of conference and trade shows during my second career and their resulting family impacts and experiences are covered in detail. Leisure travel post retirement described to the extent an individual could use the provided information to determine interest in the characterized destination or attraction. Subtly woven throughout the book is the belief that God has been and is with me on my life's journey. He was there for me when i desperately needed to change my career path from Hotel Management to Conference/Trade Show Management to reduce my travel requirements and escape from the cut-throat corporate world. Unbeknownst to me at the time, he led me to the love of my life whom i've now been with for 30 years, married for 20 of those years.
