"Letters to The Ocean" is a collection of poetry aiming to highlight that pain is not meant to serve only one purpose; pain is a rebirth, a passage, and a reminder that you've lived, dreamed, failed, and prevailed. The poems written, stem from different experiences, including heartbreak, loss, gain, rejuvenation, and strength. Each poems serves as an individual story, contributing to a larger story, one that I hope is able to bring those who read it, some semblance of hope, clarity and peace.

About The Author

A. Van-De-Cruize Lampkin is the author of the romance mystery novel "Confident Sensuality" and two poetry collections, including this one and the heartfelt "Love Never Fails." She is also the visionary behind the comic book "Na Makasi," and is actively working on the second issue and transforming it into an animated series. By profession, she is a dedicated nurse, currently pursuing her Master's degree in Nursing. Her work, whether through words or care, reflects her deep passion for healing, storytelling, and empowerment. Her art is her offering a voice for the silenced, a mirror for the healing, and a lighthouse for the lost.
