About the author
Tommy Tong has led, managed and mentored in multinational environments on four continents as soldier, executive and consultant. He holds two masters degrees in international business, has studied 7 languages, commissioned officers, promoted black belts, married couples, saved lives, raised kids, built businesses, written songs, written books, performed for, taught, managed and led thousands. Having lived in China for many years, Tommy is acutely aware that Westerners know very little about the mysterious nation so powerful in global influence, wealth and culture. After struggling to find a book to teach his own children about the rising superpower, Tong developed a new series of early reader books on China with the intention of teaching parents a little something about the country along the way. He calls it his “three birds, one arrow” strategy as he tells tales of excitement for all ages.
