Description

"Leo, Detective" is a heartfelt mystery driven by a queer and compelling teen sleuth. On his first day at a new high school, Leo Merser—a transgender seventeen-year-old struggling to find his place—is helped through a panic attack by a kind custodian named Colleen Winters. Weeks later, when Colleen reveals she has found a mysterious document hinting at shady financial dealings inside the school, Leo agrees to help her investigate further. But before he can help find what Colleen is searching for, Leo discovers her body at the bottom of the stairs. The police call it a tragic accident, but Leo knows it's murder. As he starts digging for answers, Leo uncovers a growing web of lies that appear to lead back to the school's teachers. Then the warnings begin. Anonymous notes followed by a deadly threat hidden in the chemistry lab, and a mysterious car that forces Leo off the road. Someone knows Leo is investigating and will do anything to stop him. With the help of his new friends, Leo must untangle the truth before the killer strikes again. But the closer he gets, the more dangerous his world becomes—and the harder it is to keep his own secret hidden.
