Notebook entries created by Mollie Gleeson, capture the story of the trip from Belgium to Indiana, as told by her grandfather, Francis Xavier Lemaire.
This book is a family history identifying the descendants of Francis Xavier & Albertine Catherine (Martin) Lemaire in family group form, photos and text. The couple married and raised eight children in Les Bulles, Belgium before immigrating to Leopold, Indiana in 1878 to join other families from the Les Bulles/Jamoigne area of Luxembourg Province in Belgium who immigrated to Leopold starting in 1842 for economic and religious freedom reasons.
