Leaving Home

Leaving Home is an autobiographical account of Claudia who leaves her hometown of Kansas City, Missouri to make it big in New York City. The collection of writings includes four short stories and a poem, "Leaving Home", "Death of a Neighborhood", "Outside the Outsider Art Scene: A Commentary", "Urban Warfare" and "The Lower East Side".

This collection or essays describes Claudia's travails of theater, art, homelessness, housing, politics and squatting in New York City. It is an unfinished novel.
