About the author
Dr. Paul Hersey’s Situational Leadership® has been used to train well over 14,000,000 managers and professional people from more than 1,000 businesses and other organizations. He is an internationally-known behavioral scientist and highly successful entrepreneur. Professor Hersey is recognized as one of the world’s outstanding authorities on training and development in leadership and management. In addition to his teaching, he is a consultant, on a continuing basis, to industrial, government and military organizations. Dr. Hersey is presently a Distinguished Professor of Leadership Studies at Nova Southeastern University. He is a former faculty member of Northern Illinois University, California State College at Chico, University of Arkansas and Ohio University. Dr. Hersey also served in the roles of Chairman of the Department of Management and Dean of the School of Business, as well as President of California American University – Graduate School of Applied Behavioral Science. Dr. Hersey has also served as Project Director for the Industrial Relations Center of the University of Chicago, Training Director at Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Company, and manager at Sandia Corporation.
