Description

Yes, we Americans are taught our entire lives that we are the freest Nation on earth and the rest of the world only envies us…Bullshit? According to the World Governance Indicator (2017) some 40 nations enjoy a higher level of democratic freedom. Contrary to having the most trustworthy news in the world, we were ranked No. 46. About The Author

Eike Waltz is an artist who walks across genres on a tightrope of talent and keen, precise vision. His poetry is informed by the varied span of his other abilities as a dancer, sculptor, orator, filmmaker, and more. His work is wrapped in colorful and textural layers of sensual detail. Even more, his work is informed by decades of experience across continents, sometimes barely surviving, sometimes exultant and triumphant. He carries the reader spinning through the stages of ecstasy and despair. Ripe fields explode into battlefields only to be lost in the depths of space or the rush of history in the endlessly shifting ethical exhortations full of wisdom.
