But when Alice becomes the first human to try the machine, things get seriously out of hand. This thrilling story sees Lard confronting the very sources of power, before risking everything to create world peace. But will he succeed or will everything go horribly, weirdly, comically wrong...?

From the first moment I encountered Lard I knew he was something of a literary curveball. After being thoroughly entertained by many of his comic strips, promoting bite sized world peace, I was fascinated to read his first ever short story. Lard has a way of capturing the hearts and imaginations (not to mention hopes) of his readers and I'm pleased to report that his first feature length exploit doesn't disappoint, reflecting everything Lard, both in philosophy and oddball humour. If you're having one of those moments of life affirming self reflection then there are far worse ways to channel you philosophical energies than reading this delightful little gem!
