Three years ago, Anna's father was imprisoned for treason, and her mother died shortly afterward. Anna has been left to tend the family farm alone. Debra Gravley has long been a lover of both reading and writing. When she dreamed of Anna, and a merciless king who seemingly wished to take everything Anna held dear, she began writing her first novel.
