Raw, Moving, and Profound I have always known Keath as an incredible writer, so I had no doubt in my mind that "King Crone and The Empty Nest" would be filled with magic. Still, I was blown away from the very first piece, "Ode to My Dead Voice". I can vividly remember repeatedly wiping away my tears so I could see the words on the page and keep reading, but every line brought a new wave of deep feeling. Keath's ability to write from such a raw and genuine internal place is a gift not many individuals are given, and I am continuously astounded by the exquisite and captivating work he delivers. I couldn’t put it down! A new favorite King Crone and The Empty Nest is a rare collection of works to be consumed like wildfire. Keath’s words guide us through the thorns while gently holding our hearts. We witness shining images and experience depths of emotion that reflect what it is to be unflinchingly oneself. These beautiful rites are rooted in softness and safety. King Crone is an ode to the freedom found in vulnerability. Read more

Mournful Magic! BEAUTIFUL “King Crone” is filled with the magic the world needs. There is so much triumph in Keath Silva’s poetry. “Trans Angels” is beautiful. “Boy Boobs” is incredible! This book holds space for everything a person could experience Silva writes about pain and pleasure with such ease. I felt like I was going on these journeys with him. He paints such vivid images with his words. What I can’t get over is how gentle his voice is, even in the poems about rage. Parenthood, Manhood, Womanhood, Personhood! I am so grateful to have found this collection of poems. I will treasure it always. Read more
