An explanation from Bruce Ewing: I started writing Daily E-votionals and sharing them on June 17th, 2002. As you will discover from what you will read, I wrote a journaled form of these e-votionals for over 8 years before sharing them -- and then, I only shared them as a dare. KEEPING IT SIMPLE is the first year of those Daily E-votionals. Thus the bizarre set up of this book -- a daily e-votional that runs for the year from June 17 - June 16th... A little unorthodox -- but it is what it is! In this year of e-votionals, I slowly read through the following books of the Bible: Galatians, Mark, 1 Corinthians, Ephesians, James, Philippians, Titus, John, 1 Peter, and 1 John. Whenever anyone writes to me, asking to be added to my e-mail distribution list, I always send this “disclaimer”: Please know that I am not any kind of expert, nor do I believe that I am a teacher of any kind.  I simply write my thoughts as I read slowly through different books of the Bible.  I hope that it inspires others to see how the Bible does relate to our daily life!  Hope you enjoy!      It is with that same “disclaimer” that I share KEEPING IT SIMPLE ... About The Author

Bruce Ewing, a native of Suffern, NY, and a graduate of the Hartt School of Music, Hartford, CT, is presently serving as Worship Leader & Choir Director at Community Lutheran Church, Las Vegas, NV, as well as performing with his new show, “THE PHAT PACK” (staring Bruce Ewing, Ted Keegan, Randal Keith & Joey Singer) . Before working in ministry, Bruce taught public school music in Las Vegas, NV, as well as years ago in Tuxedo, NY and Manchester, CT. For 25 years, he worked all over the country in Musical Theater, with credits including 6 years in "Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular, 7 years in the Las Vegas production of “Forever Plaid” (playing Jinx, Sparky & Frankie), as well as national tours of “Forever Plaid” (Jinx/Frankie) “City of Angels” (Jimmy Powers), “Grand Hotel” (Erik & understudy for the Baron) , and “Ziegfeld: A Night At The Follies” (Production Tenor.) Bruce has 4 solo vocal discs (“Let The Music Begin: A Musical Journey In Search Of The Spirit”, “Remembering To Dream: The Christmas Album”, “Give Me Jesus” and “Tonight at Eight: Songs from Broadway). Bruce can also be heard on THE PHAT PACK CD, , the Trio Recording “Two Guys & A Girl - Desire Beyond Expression” with Greg Davis & Karen Gay as well as singing the role of Jinx on the 15th Anniversary Cast Recording of “Forever Plaid”. Bruce’s greatest joys in life are being able to sing and share Jesus! Although Bruce has been writing and sharing Daily E-votionals for the past 10 years, KEEPING IT SIMPLE is Bruce’s debut book!
