Description

The book shows how the Law of Attraction and the teachings of Jesus are essentially two sides of the same coin, so that when the underlying intents are merged, the two become mutually supporting.  It describes Jesus' plan for our abundance, and explains how the intent of successfully following that plan can be accomplished in our daily lives.

Under the Law, a person’s intent involves accomplishing some form of personal success (e.g., health, wealth, happiness, etc.) by attracting the particular things and circumstances that he believes will produce or support that success.

Under Jesus' teachings, a person’s intent requires successfully thinking and acting in accordance with Divine Will, as revealed through Jesus' teachings, presumably including living abundantly so as to be an example to others of how to live, teaching those who want to learn how to live that way as well, and answering any special calling Jesus may have of him.

The book summarizes the techniques for applying the Law of Attraction, for acquiring the mindset for living according to Jesus' teachings, and keys to success. It is designed for reader comprehension, plainly worded, short enough to easily read through at one sitting, and copiously endnoted for further reference.

About The Author

J.W. Yates grew up in a small town in Mississippi, had a traditional Christian upbringing, and has since worshiped and studied with a number of Christian denominations and spiritual groups.   

He attended the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) under the Regular Navy ROTC program, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, was commissioned upon graduation, traveled extensively on active duty with the Navy, both around this country and around the world, and is a veteran of Vietnam.

Following active duty, he returned to Ole Miss, earned a master’s degree in urban and regional planning, and a doctorate (J.D.) in law, practiced professionally, and served in related positions in business and government. 

He is member, among others, of American Mensa, the National Eagle Scout Association, the Mississippi Bar, and the State Bar of Texas.

He is currently semi-retired, and lives with his wife, Mary, and two ten-year-old Pomeranian puppies.
