Upper elementary and middle school children will be able to travel with the main character as she discovers a whole new world, and experiences the rich culture of the people who lived during a time when life was much different. The main character undergoes a rites of passage in which she learns more about herself and her superpowers.
About the author
Dr. Tammarra Lewis is the CEO of Fortunes Wholistic Enterprise. She holds a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership, a Master's degree in Education Administration, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. Tammarra is originally from St. Louis, Missouri. She relocated to Los Angeles, California during the summer of 2014 to continue her life's work of helping students achieve. She has worked as an educator for over 20 years in the capacities of principal, interim assistant director, consultant, instructional specialist, teaching and learning facilitator, site coordinator, classroom teacher & Restorative Justice Instructor. In addition, she conducted research on 'The Effectiveness of Response to Interventions (RtI) on Minority Students' Achievement. Tammarra has a phenomenal track record of helping students achieve academically and artistically. She enjoys bringing literature to life through vivid stories. She became inspired to write because she saw a need for books to reflect more images of culture diversity told in a unique manner. She hopes that this book inspires children to know that they are super beings full of creativity and imagination.
