Armando learned not to beat and condemn himself for his failures; he is only human. He has learned to release the troubled feelings from the past and focus on the possibilities of the future. He acknowledges participating in every bad decision he has made. He has also learned that on the road of life, if everything is coming your way very easily, it is highly probable that you are in the wrong lane. In most cases, difficult roads lead to beautiful destinations. Armando Marquez was born in Colonia Cuauhtémoc Municipality of Chihuahua Mexico. As a child, he suffered from starvation, poverty, crime, and personal danger. At the age of 12 he departed for the United States. Uneducated, unable to read or write, Armando enlisted in the U.S. military, became a U.S. citizen, and earned a high school degree. He earned his undergraduate engineering degree from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo; MBA from Santa Clara University; and engaged in Executive Programs at Wharton Business School, Columbia University, and University of Virginia.
