It's More Than Hockey

It's More Than Hockey tells the story of two siblings, Noah and Sassafrass, who move to a different town and join a new hockey team. Their new teammates make them feel wanted, needed and welcome, making the transition from one town to another easier. They learn as much as they LOVE hockey, it's more than hockey.

After moving and leaving their friends and hockey team, siblings Noah and Sassafrass meet their new coach and teammates, who make them feel wanted, needed and welcome. Under the guidance of coaches Neil and Nancy, Noah and Sassafrass learn valuable life lessons that will stay with them forever. Although they love to play hockey, they realize It's More Than Hockey.

Nancy is a long-time figure skating and power skating coach in Ontario. She is the author of My Skating Dream, the incredible journey of a girl named Sassafrass in pursuit of becoming the best figure skater she can be. Nancy is married to Neil, and they have two children. Neil is Nancy's husband, and has coached minor sports for over 30 years.
