Emma Penrod completed her first internship while attending high school. She continued gaining experience in college, during which she completed another pair of internships, including one that warranted a summer excursion to New York City. She currently resides in Utah, where she is finishing her last year of school at Brigham Young University, working part time as a managing editor at a small magazine company, and further honing her craft by freelancing for a variety of newspapers and books.
