Shellykay Saunders Bio Shellykay Saunders was born in Los Angeles, Ca. She was raised in the City of La Puente. She attended Mt. San Antonio College. She studied writing, literature, Christian Theology. She realized she was very blessed and had a gift for literature and poetry. She appreciates art, music, & ballet. Upon writing the book, Inspirational Poems, Shellykay was overwhelmed with joy & was inspired to write poetry, at the birth of her first born in 1984. Shellykay tapped into the life lessons through God’s love and through life experiences, with her faith in Jesus. This will also help Christians with their walk with God. By working hands on with the homeless and needy, Shellykay saw a need to help give hope in the form of Poetry. The book Inspirational Poems was written and published in 2009, by Poetry Line Publishing Co. Shellykay’s inspiration came from studying God’s word, and she thanks God, her family and friends who touch her life.
