Faynetta Lavergne Burrle was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She is the founder of GEMS (Girls Establishing Meaningful Self-Esteem), a program designed to create a keen self image in teenage girls by focusing on behavior modification, imaging, personal appearance, and linguistics. Faynetta holds a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice from University of Southwestern Louisiana and a Masters Degree Counseling from Prairie View A&M. Faynetta is also the CEO of Elated Consulting and Training Firm. A training firm that specializes in Professional Development and Team Building Organizational. The mission of Elated is to establishing an effective balance through training that develops creativity, promotes moral, and teach the team how to implement new ideas while reducing hazard in the workforce. A powerful and energetic speaker, Faynetta facilitates professional trainings and workshops on topics such as: Anger Management, Conflict Resolution, Behavior Modification, Communication Skills, Diversity, Self-Esteem, Team Building, and many more. Inside Deception is her debut novel. And penning the novel did not come without barriers; in 2005, Faynetta was healed from cancer. She continues to remain focused on her writing career and is a strong believer in the power of positive thinking. Faynetta currently resides in Houston, Texas with her husband, Robert, and daughter, Madelyn. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and writing. She is currently working on her second novel.
