The journey of self-discovery is a necessary process that we don't give ourselves the time to explore because we are seeking unrealistic love in others due to our childhood trauma. I didn't know who I was, nor did I recognize my value, so God had to break me gracefully for me to see that my life was bigger than me. The search of freedom is not an easy journey. If it were easy, we would never choose growth. We will fall, we will hurt, we will scar, but we have to go through the metamorphosis of change to be able to see the light in the midst of the darkness. In this book, I share my life story, the many falls, but most importantly the conscious choices I made to rise and dust myself off.
