Overview

Written after the tragic death of her beloved husband per his request, Michelle Paivola shares their unique love story that together they told to the thousands of people who asked how the two met.  Their fairy tale became a raw and honest experience in absolute devotion to love and honor in sickness and in health.  Only in the fire that burns away all impurities can you know the purest form of true love.

Description

Solomon said, "I have found the one whom my soul loves." That was the verse that was handwritten on Lasse and Michelle's wedding announcement, as well as on their hearts. This is the life story of the almost two decades they shared on this earth together. Lasse was twenty years older than Michelle and he was from Finland. Everywhere they went people wanted to know the story of how they met and they loved telling it! Michelle always began with, "Well, the first words he ever said to me were, 'In Finland you would get a ticket for that!' He criticized my driving!" Lasse would always retort with the fact that Michelle had hated him because he fired her and she had only married him for revenge! This real life fairy tale, with a wedding celebrated in a Finnish castle, travels through the corridors of cancer treatments, and ends with a heart-wrenching journey through the valley of the shadow of death.
