Imagine That! is written for children and their parents. It is my hope that they will read this book together and that the book will provoke thought and conversation about the power and necessity of imagination. The applications of imagination are many and varied: it can shape your life, your achievements and your success, however you define it. The images in this book are digital composites, combining photographs of toys and actual corresponding environments such as a child might imagine while playing with a toy. History shows us how much is possible. What is impossible today becomes tomorrow's norm. And the best thing about imagination is that you can't use it up; it is truly a sustainable resource.

Cali Gorevic is predominantly a medium format film photographer living in New York’s Hudson Valley. She is best known for her black and white images of nature, still life and animals. Her work has been shown internationally and appears in numerous private and corporate collections. These images are Cali’s first digital images.
