Description

The basic idea of this book is that prayer is connecting with the Holy and as uniquely created persons the ways we connect are as varied as we are. Because prayer is a way of being and not just something to do, everything about us can be an entry into relationship with our God. We are gifted with multiple senses to explore the world. Our moods are also gifts from a loving Creator who has equipped us to understand our surroundings, our interactions with others, and our own selves. The prayers in this book are samples of the many ways one might engage with the transcendent in a loving relationship that asks us to be ourselves and to come as we are.
