Description
Iggy Gorgess is a twenty-two-year-old punk with spiky, dyed black hair and black eyeliner who moves to Greenwich Village, NYC, in the late 1980's. There he works on his novel, entitled The Vixen Marlena, and pays the bills as a cashier at the punk clothing store, Caterpillar. He alienates his co-workers yet befriends the homeless men by the fountain at Washington Square Park. This serves him well until a pretty, seventeen- year-old co-worker develops a crush on him. He begins to question his habits of disconnect as he sees them pointing toward dangerous consequences.
