Liza Morado is a retired teacher and artist who lives in the Pacific Northwest. She was born in San Rafael, California and raised in White Hall, Maryland. Liza graduated from W.S.U. with a B.A. in Sociology and got her M.A. in Psychology at Pacific Lutheran University. She earned her teaching credentials from the University of Puget Sound and studied art at Steilacoom Community College. Liza has worked as a National Park Ranger Naturalist, a U.S. Customs Inspector, a counselor for a boys group home, an administrator, a substitute teacher for grades K-12, and the Art Coordinator for Tacoma Children's Museum. In retirement, Liza devotes her time to travelling around the world, sewing, and gardening. Her favorite pastime is making art.
