About the author
Osamase Ekhator is a Boston based poet, writer and author. His poems, focused on love and race, are influenced by the genres of Soul, Rap and R&B; using rhythm, and wordplay to bring life to his excerpts of personal reflection. Osamase has an English degree from Boston College and will be pursuing a Masters in Business from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. His debut book, "Situationship", was invited to the 2019 Brooklyn Book Festival on behalf of AZURE Literary Group, recognized by the 2020 North Street Book Prize, and studied at the University of Bonn in Germany. Osamase's other work has also been published in Cathexis NorthWest Press, AZURE, Prometheus Dreaming Magazine, Penumbra Literary and Art Journal, and more. In the past, Osamase has had the pleasure of performing at Boston University, UMASS Boston, Arnold Worldwide, and hosting a poetry class at St. Stephan's B-Safe Program.
