Corinne McKay is a certified French to English translator who built her thriving freelance business from scratch, with little translation experience and no contacts in the translation industry. Her book, How to Succeed as a Freelance Translator, has sold over 5,000 copies and is frequently cited as the go-to guide for beginning and experienced freelance translators alike. Corinne's blog, Thoughts on Translation, was selected as one of Lexiophiles' top 25 blogs by a language professional in 2011. Corinne holds a BA in French and English from Geneseo College and the University of Grenoble, France and an MA in French Literature and Culture from Boston College. She works from her home office in Boulder, Colorado, where she lives with her husband and daughter.
