About the author
Darren is a long-term Buddhist practitioner and yoga instructor. He holds a BA in Psychology and has over thirty years of experience in the recovery field. He pioneered Buddhist Recovery in Portland Oregon where he led retreats and workshops for many years. Prior to becoming an author, Darren played jazz guitar, was a community media TV host and created a local dog park. He currently resides in San Diego with his wife and dogs.
