The book focuses on three things. The first of these is the Kingdom of God. The book details the biblical basis for and what is the Kingdom of God on earth (not just for heaven). It parallels between the walk of a Christian today and that of the nation of Israel, coming from Egypt to the Promised Land. Secondly, the book focuses on knowing God, for who He says that He is, specifically His covenant names as revealed in the Old Testament, and applying those covenants to daily life. Finally, this is summed up in a message on prayer, specifically the Lord’s Prayer, and how it is a key to entering your personal Promised Land, the Kingdom of God. A significant number of testimonies from the author’s life are intermixed with scripture to bring a story that is both interesting to read and a message that can change your life. The intent is to lead the reader on their own journey to the Promised Land.
