The money was never found. At the memorial service, her mother unexpectedly turns up with a man who says he's from the FBI and a cousin she never knew existed reveals himself. When there is a break-in to the rustic home, Laura realizes someone is looking for the money. With the help of Sam, a young widower who reluctantly becomes involved, they seek to solve the mystery of the lost bank funds..

Author has published 3 Biblical Fiction novels with Revell (Baker Books), a Christian Romance, and a poetry book along with several artilces and short stories in compelation books.. She belongs to Professional Women's Fellowship, is active on the Board and worship team of her church, and serves as Treasurer for the San Diego Christian Writer's Guild. She and her husband have six grown children between them and ten grandchldren. They live in San Diego, California
