About the author
Denise Lee Branco spent her childhood on a California ranch, befriending all the furry and feathered residents there, reading horse books, and competing in western shows and gymkhanas. Horses have always been a part of her identity. Compelled to write about their soul-to-soul connection and the bond they once shared for over three decades, Denise’s literary career began in 2008 after the passing of her beloved horse, Freedom. As a result, her first book Horse at the Corner Post: Our Divine Journey was introduced to the world in 2010, and it not only won a silver medal in the 2011 Living Now Book Awards but has touched lives and assisted various charities in raising much-needed funds ever since. Memberships include American Horse Publications, Women’s Horse Industry Network, and Northern California Publishers and Authors, to name a few.
