Hip-Hop-Opotomuses

Hip-Hop-Opotomuses is a book for young children and their parents which shows that no matter where a person is from or their background, that we can all be friends. It's simple poetry and art makes people think and realize that in reality we are very much the same and that music can bring people together.

Music is one of the greatest tools to bring people together no matter where they are from or how much melanin is in their skin.  This is reminiscent of the old Doctor Seuss story books with a positive message built into a poem.

Tom Myers is at heart, still that Minnesota farm boy who grew up with a hunger to read and later, to write. Now a grandfather, his greatest desire is that his writing will have a positive effect on people in their search for happiness and knowledge and that they in turn will share those feelings with others.
