Highway Romance

Breilee Chase is a late in life romance author, whose alter ego previously wrote a cookbook and a children's book. A stretch of genres, for sure! After seeing a post about a romance book festival coming to a town near her and reading that her hunky Hallmark crush Victor Webster would be making a special guest appearance at the event. Breilee decided she would like to write a romance novel and participate in that event. She had extreme hopes of promoting her books and possibly meeting Victor Webster there. *Virtual SWOON* But, Breilee had no idea of a romance story to write. So during her nightly prayers, she asked God to give her an inspiration for a romance novel. A couple of days later, she was literally stuck in traffic at a complete stop on the highway for over 2 hours. When out of the blue, she suddenly received the inspiration for her romance novel. She quickly jotted notes into the note pad on her cell phone while sitting in her car on the highway. When she finally arrived home, she grabbed her laptop and started writing. She stayed up and wrote all night long. And that night, "Highway Romance" was born. Breilee continued to write the story for a couple more days until she hit a writer's block. That night she prayed for God to take her hands and continue writing the story. The next morning, she awoke inspired yet again and rushed to her laptop and began typing. She didn't even stop for coffee! After a couple of hours, her need for coffee took over. When she returned to her laptop with her light and sweet, vanilla-caramel coffee in hand...she sat down to read what she had written. In utter disbelief, she did not recall writing the spicy and risque content that she was reading. Breilee gasped and jumped up-nearly dumping her coffee. What kind of divine intervention created such content from a sweet, yet not-so-little, older lady? She was seriously blushing! What would her kids and grand kids say? What would the ladies at church say? Suffice to say, Breilee was very concerned. But then she realized that God created a man and a woman and their sexy ways created more men and women with even more sexual exploits. It's all part of life. And along the way, authors were created to write about and share those stories. Since Breilee married 2 weeks after her 18th birthday to an unromantic, non-religious, selfish, yet very handsome man, the spicy escapades in this story were nothing she had ever experienced. Perhaps they were figments of her imagination and/or a manifestation of her fantasies. If God inspired her to write about them and bring her dreams of becoming a romance author to fruition...then a spicy romance author she shall be. Sadly, the tyrannical male organizer of the romance book festival did not approve Breilee's application and she was not able to participate in the event. But, she bought a ticket to the event and was able to meet Victor Webster! She had a great conversation with him, had her picture taken next to him and received several embraces pressed against his sexy broad chest and wrapped in his equally sexy muscular arms! *She was SWOONING in reality*! When Breilee told Victor he was her inspiration for the cowboy in her story, Victor said..."Yee Ha, I'll be the cowboy in the movie version of your book!" And Breilee is going to hold him to that promise! Please enjoy this faith inspired, Southern Cowboy style, spicy romance novel that God has helped Breilee create.
