Highland Park Sesquicentennial Celebration

The HP150 Commemorative Book celebrates the sesquicentennial or 150th anniversary of Highland Park, Illinois. The volume compiles entries from the City's government partners, schools, arts organizations (including Ravinia Festival), businesses, houses of worship, civic and service organizations, and more. Photos, both past and present, as well as fun facts, memories and more create a collective snapshot of a community that continues to grow, evolve and thrive. Special attention is given to sesquicentennial celebration events and programs from 2019.

Jennifer Dotson is the Executive Assistant to the Mayor and City Manager for the City of Highland Park. She has been a resident since 2003. In addition, Jennifer is the founder and program coordinator for Highland Park Poetry and facilitates writing workshops for the Highland Park Public Library's Library U! Program.
