About the author
The author was born and raised in Chicago, graduating from Brother Rice H.S., then moved to Wisconsin's Northwoods when young and became captivated with the woodlands, lakes, and rivers. Also, with the nearby hill country of the U.P. (Upper Peninsula) of Michigan with it's (hopefully) extinct volcano, Porcupine Mountain, and of course magnificent Lake Superior. He lived on his northern Wisconsin family resort until he attended and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in the Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He was active on campus trying to improve student housing issues. He enjoys writing, especially Epic Fantasy. Now retired from being a Registered Pharmacist, but still living in the Northwoods of Wisconsin with his wife Joanie (who he often suspects is a part elf). Most of their children and grandchildren live nearby, with some residing throughout Wisconsin, and even a few in a vast desert known as Arizona. Now retired, he has more time for the outdoors, including a family orchard, and full-time writing. He has a lifetime of harvesting the forest for what it offers, as well as traveling to the other parts of the U.S. and Canada which set the tone for appreciation of nature's wonders. Euphemistically called the frozen tundra by football fans, northern Wisconsin's forests and waterways arouse the imagination, as well as the written word, is aspiring to do and hoping to stir the thoughts about the mythical, the possible and maybe even the probable, fantasy literature beckons the reader to temporarily become lost in an adventure.
