Overview
Former lawman and prosecutor Clint Harrison tries to escape the ordeal of the murder of his son and wife only to get himself deeply involved in a mysterious struggle between a large mining corporation, a small Indian tribe and a local newspaper editor who someone is attempting to put out of business. Clint's own life is in peril as he tries to unravel the mystery.
Description
Clint Harrison, a Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney, sees his world come to a violent end one sunny day when a car bomb meant for him takes the lives of his wife and his young son. Fleeing from a past that haunts his every waking moment, Clint suddenly finds himself embroiled in an adventure that combines romance, greed, treachery and spine-tingling danger. The saga begins in the small southwestern Colorado town of Climax, where blind fate plunges Clint headlong into a clash between a local Indian tribe and a large corporation planning a major development on land the tribe claims was deeded to it under the terms of an obscure, hundred-year-old treaty. Clint abruptly finds himself immersed in a plot involving the attempted murder of Ben Griffin, the editor and publisher of the local newspaper, who is engaged in an editorial campaign against the mighty Donovan Corporation and its attempts to develop a tract of land over which the neighboring Sequoia Indiana Tribe has laid claim.
