Overview
The Sea Traveler a cruise ship moved through the Gulf of Aden when it is attacked by Somalia pirates. Unalde to stop the Sea Traveler the pirates fire a missle a missle hitting the ship. A forensic examination of the area where the missle exploded discloses that the missile had heat seeking capabilities and that the guidence system had been manufacured in the U.S. The FBI is tasked with finding out how the missile parts were stolen When they are unable to do so the owner of the manufacturing plant where the part is made brings in a private investigate who identifies the thief and traces the route of the missiles to the pirates.
Description
The Sea Traver is a cruise ship in the gulf of Aden when it is attached by Somalia Pirates. Using a Long Range Acoustical Device (LRAD) the pirates are keep away from the ship. In frustration they fire a a Heat Seeking missile at the ship.When the ship reaches Mumbai it is examined by forensic specialist, They find a circuit board that has a part number of an American manufacturer.Everyone wants to know how an American missile part end up in the hands of pirates. After months of review by the FBI the parts thieves remain unknown. The American missile manufactures fears hw will lose his government contracts hires a private detective who discovers how the theft is accomplished. He is then asked to find out lhow Pakistani missiles with American guidence systems make their way to Somalia pirates. The pirates find the the missiles have caused the death of a number of their members and sell their remaining missiles to a moslem terrorest group who then set out to destroy the airline industry by shooting commercial alirliners. The terrorist missles are traced to a traning camp then to England, Spain and America. Federal authorites manage to track down the individual terrest cells but not before a number of passenger planes are shot down and the airline industry is nearly brought to its knees.
