Heart of Fire

It is a dark time. The Witch-Empress Scrazia rules the land of Ryanahn with an iron fist. Anyone who dares oppose her is hunted mercilessly, including those who wield good magic. In the middle of the turmoil are a brother and sister, Dyrin and Bler Fields. Bler is expected to inherit her mother's powerful magic, prompting her and her brother to hide in the tiny backwoods town of Mudwater. But simply hiding won't be enough. The ancient dragon Heavensfire has been looking out for the siblings for years, and convinces Dyrin to accept his magical essence, granting the young man the power of the dragons. That power will be needed: an agent of Scrazia's shows up in Mudwater, searching for Bler. In the ensuing chaos, brother and sister are separated. Can they find each other, and find a way to fight back against Scrazia's regime in this tale of courage, resilience, and family?
