Heart of a Merman

Cayble is alone and content to be so until his world is upended, and he finds himself trapped in a vehicle he cannot recall entering of his own free will. Determined to maintain his peace of mind he enlists Catherine's help. Catherine is half human-half feral and has given up on finding love. Neither side seems to have accepted her differences, so she buries herself in work, designing and implementing security systems. Together they must battle the unknown and piece together the mystery while attempting to preserve the fragile peace they have established, perhaps even finding love in the midst of the chaos. A tale of mer-people, elves, dragons, witches, ferals and humans in a fantasy world of EROS where differences may be celebrated or hated. Can love survive in such a world?

This allows him the privacy to fully embrace the merman side within him. Now well over 40, he has given up on love and dating altogether, or at least that is what he tells himself. That all changes when he finds himself in a flipped vehicle with no recollection of how he got there. Why was he nabbed? Determined to maintain his peace of mind he enlists Catherine's help. Catherine is only half human and has to hide her animal, feral side in public to maintain appearances. She operates a security firm and while a technological genius in many ways, her love life has suffered greatly. When she gets the call from an old family friend, her gut instinct is to say no. Cayble had not been kind to her teenage self. Unfortunately, the families are close, so she reluctantly agrees. Together Cayble and Cat must decipher the mystery while battling unwanted attraction to one another. Will they find love, or will their fragile peace be shattered? I started writing adult romance novels with a hint of the fantasy world to combine some of my favorite genres in one. I love nature, art, and seeing the beauty all around me. I created a world that forces one to look past the superficial and see the inner gem inside. This is my second novel and I hope all enjoy reading it!
