About The Author


Kathy Corsetty, a wife and mother of a two-year-old son, is a motivational speaker, workshop leader, and developer of the Healthy Habits program. A former Dale Carnegie instructor, Corsetty has helped hundreds of people improve their outlook, self-confidence, and public speaking ability. Healthy Habits is the culmination of her 15 years of study and practice in the health and image industries. After unsuccessfully trying one diet after another, she ultimately dropped from a size 16 to a size 6 and, other than her pregnancy, has maintained the 40-pound weight loss by applying the Healthy Habits principles she teaches in her program. Since 1991, Corsetty has been a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming practitioner. She has a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Maryland and has written more than 300 newspaper articles. She lives in Gaithersburg, Maryland with her husband Jim and son, Michael.
