Although Adam and Eve have been evicted out of the Garden, the world is still a paradise. The Border Wars have ended and Enoch has settled into a quiet life in the mountains far from the chaos in Nod. However, spiritual forces are conspiring against Enoch and all those who remain faithful to the teachings of Adam, the Firstborn. What begins as an annual pilgrimage to the Garden of Eden, quickly turns into a desperate battle for survival, where simple faith is the difference between life and death.
Description
Although Adam and Eve have been evicted out of the Garden, the world is still a paradise. The Border Wars have ended and Enoch has settled into a quiet life in the mountains far from the chaos in Nod. However, spiritual forces are conspiring against Enoch and all those who remain faithful to the teachings of Adam, the Firstborn. What begins as an annual pilgrimage to the Garden of Eden, quickly turns into a desperate battle for survival. Spiritual forces collide as Enoch and his fellow travelers are captured by the Cainites, only to be freed by a resourceful slavegirl and a gladitorial giant. Pursued by relentless enemies who are aided by demonically controlled dragonriders, Enoch and his small band race against time in order to save a tribe from the vengeance of Cain, all the while burdened with a cryptic message from an angel which forces him to continue on his pilgrimage in spite of the obstacles he encounters.
About the author
I was raised in a rural area in southern Oregon now referred to as the "Oregon Outback." When I was fifteen years old I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior. I moved to California to go to school and I graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a degree in Criminal Justice. I joined the Sacramento Police Department in 1991 and enjoyed working patrol and in other problem oriented police units before being selected to the SWAT team in 2001 where I am currently assigned. I have been happily married for almost 25 years and have two wonderful children. This is my first novel.
