About The Author

Wendy J. English grew up in Leominster, Massachusetts and graduated from Massachusetts College of Art with a B.F.A. in illustration. After a couple of years working in non-creative industries, she was grateful to be hired as an illustrator with Hallmark Cards, Inc., in Kansas City, Missouri, where she was happily employed for 38 years.

She and her husband Mark raised two lovely daughters, Emily and Sarah, in Liberty and Kansas City. After retirement, she moved to Lenexa, Kansas, where she now lives with her geriatric English bulldog, Dudley.

"Hattie's Slightly-Larger-Than-Average-Sized Head" is her debut book.
