Shelita Jefferson is a native of Southern California. She was raised by her mother who is also a self-published author. Growing up reading her mother's books and poetry sparked an early love for reading and creative writing. Over the years, Shelita developed her talent for writing through poetry and after many years of having this story in her head and heart, she finally put pen to paper and began to write her first book.
