About the author
Hard Road Home is L.A. Dopson’s second novel. A North Dakota resident, Lorraine has witnessed the remarkable changes brought about by the Bakken phenomenon, from the dizzying heights of rapid development to the current slowdown.
A counselor by training, Dr. Dopson now devotes herself to writing. She resides in Bismarck with her husband, Dr. Richard Arazi, as well as two Shiba Inus and an orange cat. Their son, Alex, and his wife Katia, live in Los Angeles.
