Happy Here is a collection of illustrated poetry about entering adulthood, staying positive, and trying to remember the little things in life that make us happy. This book is great for readers of all ages, but will certainly align with high school and college students as they make their way into the big world ahead. Themes include community, family, falling in love, struggle, growth, and optimism. It includes 17 original poems with artwork created specifically for each one. Aspen Leavitt is both the author and illustrator of this project.

Aspen Leavitt is an LA-based artist with an interest in creating animated and illustrative works of all kinds! He loves creating new projects and expressing every aspect of life through art. Aspen considers himself a "life enthusiast" with a deep love of birding, Dungeons & Dragons, climbing, and writing poetry. Aspen graduated from Woodbury University in 2022 with a BFA in Animation. Since then, he has been working and collaborating with various companies and independent clients to make their artistic visions come to life. Happy Here is his first published work!
