About the author

Brenda resides in Montana with her horse Magoo and when not writing spends a great deal of time overseeing the care of a large herd of horses on a ranch in Northwest Montana.

The book is inspired by a winter day in the arena when Des, the main character, challenged me to write a story about her funny, toad looking colt named Hadlee. Des has started many colts, but Hadlee just stands out . Des and Hadlee dance together and I wanted to capture a glimpse of them dancing. I hope this story brings a few smiles to your face as you read this story.
