Description
Experience the suspense of searching for a missing pilot and his plane in the vast Alaskan wilderness. Relate to the heartache of a missing loved one. Learn appreciation for life within grief and uncertainty and how goodbyes lead to new hellos. On October 9, 1992, Tim Young piloted his Aeronca Champ from North Pole, Alaska on a routine course to Homer. Former Alaska resident, Cynthia Young Fackrell watched her brother’s plane depart, not knowing it would be the last time she saw him. After years of grief and processing, she has written a book about the mysteries surrounding his disappearance and the hope that is available to those suffering through such a tragedy. Punctuated with prophetic journal entries from her brother and investigative logs from her determined father, this story illustrates a family’s desperate search for a beloved brother and son. This book was extremely therapeutic. The author poured her heart and tears into telling the story of her brother and family. She hopes it will shed light on her brother’s accident and bring hope to those suffering through grief. It is written to touch hearts and bring joy into lives.
