Leanne Murray is a wife, mother, and nurse practitioner, as well as the owner of Bay Saint Louis Running Company. A lifelong resident of Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi, she lives there with her husband, Alex, their three children- Harrison, Henry, and Lola, and their beloved black lab Abbie. Leanne is also an adjunct faculty member at the University of Southern Alabama. She attended Bay Catholic Elementary (now Holy Trinity Catholic School), Our Lady Academy, earned her undergraduate from Mississippi University for Women, and completed her graduate studies at the University of Southern Mississippi.
Kellie Noel is a lifelong resident of Bay Saint Louis and resides there with her husband, Dean and their son, Evan. She attended Saint Clare Catholic School in Waveland, Bay High School in Bay Saint Louis, and earned her undergraduate degree at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Her passions are travel, reading, and all things space related- as her career supports NASA at the Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. Kellie is so proud of her hometown and the resiliency of its residents in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Watching her small town rebuild and become the vibrant community that it is today, inspired the collaboration on the Good Night Bay Saint Louis Project. She hopes this book inspires a love of travel and reading as well as the community of Bay Saint Louis for many years to come.
Lillie Lawhead is a part time art teacher with a passion for animals- as you can see! Growing up in the heart of downtown Bay Saint Louis, she too attended Holy Trinity Catholic School, and continued her education at Our Lady Academy, where she now resides as the art teacher for many young girls sharing a passion in art. In between her graduation and return to OLA, she attended the University of Southern Mississippi to pursue a BFA in sculpture. After recovering from an incident in 2023, she has made a return to art with even deeper respect for it. "Good Night Bay Saint Louis" will stand as Lillie's first published illustrations.
